San Marcos Coach's Notes: Sophomore catcher Katie Coy had an outstanding game. Offensively, she went 3 for 4 with three doubles, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Defensively, she caught another great game throwing out runners, catching foul flies behind the plate and holding on to tipped third strikes. Co-captain and pitcher Danielle Everson went 2 for 4 with two runs scored and two RBIs. She pitched a four hitter with no walks and 5 strikeouts. Other hits came from Emily Carlsen, Kristen Hehnke, Tracy Oliver, and Shannon Fuller and an RBI by senior centerfield, Maggie Glenn. | ||||||||||
