7th Annual Black and Blue JV Tournament

Welcome Message

If the weather prohibits us from playing, we will continue the tournament on March 22nd. We will need your JV coach's name, phone numbers and time of departure to call and inform you of any games that may be postponed because of rain. We will not be able to call you if we do not receive your information. We will try and play out all games as long as the weather safely permits.

Just a reminder. We will have a snack bar at Buena's location with breakfast and lunch food available. The snack bar is the only money our team makes from this tournament so we would appreciate your support. Thank you for choosing our tournament.

Rules and Proceedures

1. Coin toss with both coaches and umpire present will determine home and visitors.
2. The first week of play will be pool play to determine seeding for the following week of play. If the game ends in a tie the first week it will not be played out.
3. The second week of play will consist of bracket play due to seeding from the previous week of play. Any game ending in a tie in the second week will be played out using the International Tie Breaker Rule except in the consolation bracket.
4. There will be no protests allowed. The umpire has the final word.
5. If rain should occur, 4 and 1/2 innings if the home team is ahead shall be a complete game and 5 innings if the visiting team is ahead.
6. Time Limit: Shall consists of 1 hour and 20 minutes with no new inning starting after that time.
7. Each team is to provide one optice yellow colored game ball before each game.
