Schneider to Play for Loyola of Chicago
May 8, 2001 Stefanie Schneider the shortstop from Buena High has signed a national letter of intent to play softball and accept a scholorship to go to Loyola University in Chicago, a division one softball team. Stefanie has been playing 18 and under travel softball for the Rampage softball team coached by Buena Assistant Varsity Coach Glenn Allen. Last August she played with the Camarillo Riptide Coached by Dale Okinaka the Assistant Coach at Dos Pueblos High School where she played well. Stefanie has been all-league as a shortstop and as a catcher in her four years of high school as well as being an exellent student carring a 3.6 GPA and being one of the top hitters with a .398 batting average and being second in the county in doubles.
