| Tyler Ebell leads Cougars to Victory Over Moorpark |

| Santa Barbara WebSmith Staff September 16, 2000 Though Moorpark drew first blood with a touch down run in the first quarter, the Cougars scored the next 20 points on way to a 42-12 victory. It was Tyler Ebell's night as he set three school records for most career rushing yards, touch downs and points scored. Ebell's first touch down came on an 80 yard run moments after Moorpark's first quarter touch down, breaking whatever momentum Moorpark may hoped to have gained. The Cougars had more up their sleeves than just Ebell's 355 yards as quarterback Andrew Lovier threw for 140 yards completing 10 of 18 passes with no interceptions. Joaquin Real also added 75 yards on the ground on eight carries. The Cougars will next meet Royal High School, at Royal on the 22nd. |
