| Santa Barbara Coach's Note: The big match between the two unbeatens turned in favor of Santa Barbara after a 4-2 split in the first round and a huge 6-0 split in the second round. Santa Barbara was led by Courtney Armstrong who pick up 3 points against the Buena singles girls. Buena had been very strong in singles, but Courtney was up for the test. Santa Barbara picked up all but one of the doubles led by their captians Taylor Rifkin and Katelyn Gamson. SBHS will play San Marcos on Thursday to start the second round of action. | |||||
| Buena Coach's Note: Heidi Treadwell led the team admist the horrible weather conditions. She won two of three sets but Santa Barbara seemed to get all the breaks and gave Buena a hard time. Alyson Schuster, and the doubles team of Kacie McDaniel and Nicole Wigton each won one set. Buena loses its first league game and is now 8-2, 3-1. | |||||
